Estela M. de Gonzalez, Vice-chair
- Representing the beautiful Northern part of Idaho.
Bachelor Degree in Social Work; at the present time is
working for Kootenai County Hispanic Ministry. The

Lori A. Manzanares
- Was born and raised in Idaho. Earned degrees in
Political Science and Spanish from the University of Idaho.
Currently working for the UI as an Assistant Director for
New Student Services since 2000. Lori is currently pursuing a Master of Art degree in Counseling.

Ken Cortez
- Born in San Jose, California and relocated to Idaho in 1974
with his father, Richard Cortez, founder of Metalcraft, Inc.
Ken grew up in Meridian, graduated from Meridian High School,
and attended Boise State University. He is currently the President
and owner of Metalcraft, Inc. Ken has a uniquely diverse involvement in
our community. He volunteers his time as a Little
- League Umpire at youth baseball
games and is also the Tournament
- Director for the Jalapeno Open which raises
scholarship money for
- Hispanic students.
Ken is proud to be a member of the
Selland College Advisory Board as well as a Board Member of Hispanic Business Association. He is passionate about making a positive impact on the youth of our state.

- Is in her second term in the Idaho Senate where she is the Minority
Caucus Chair. She is an environmental attorney in private practice.
Senator Kelly holds a B.A. from George Mason University, a M.S. from

University of Utah College of Law.
